Fishing Charters & Prices

Half or Full Day fishing (Sunrise/Sunset) or Scenic trips:

(Please note: 1. Half day trips are only available within the Yarrawonga/Mulwala region.  Full day trips greater than 150km from Yarrawonga will incur a travel surcharge of $100 eachway per trip.  2. Price increases are valid from 01/03/11. Gift vouchers purchased prior to 01/03/11 will be valid for original prices)

A typical morning half day trip might commence with a pickup at 6:30am, on the water before 7am, and then fishing throughout the morning sunrise at a variety of locations, and back to your drop off location at about 11am.  An afternoon trip may start with a pickup or meeting at an agreed location at 4pm in summer, fishing till sunset and drop off by about 9pm.

However, there is no definite 'start' time for any of the trips. We will advise you of the best times depending on the season, weather and the fish we a targeting, but it is up to you when you would prefer to fish.

Also, there are toilet facilities within easy reach of the locations we fish. It is always a quick trip back to a recreational area toilets located along the lake or river foreshore areas.  

Pickup is available in the Yarrawonga/Mulwala Region.    

What we supply:

We supply all fishing gear, safety gear, tackle and bait but you are welcome to bring your own fishing gear along if you prefer.

Please note however that bardi grubs will be charged for at cost. (They are the best cod bait by far but they are expensive and hard to get).

What to bring:

Camera, Hat, Sunscreen, Clothing suitable for conditions.

You do not need a personal Fishing Licence on our charters in NSW waters including the whole of Lake Mulwala and the Murray and Murrumbidgee Rivers.

If we go up the Ovens or other Victorian waters you will need a licence unless you are either under 16 or a Concession card holder (including Seniors Card).

Some suggested trips include:

• Murray River Yarrawonga to Cobram - scenic trip between these two border towns, navigating the river through the beautiful red gum forests including Cobrawonga state forest (we will organise lunch and return via road).
• Ovens River loop - scenic trip through beautiful Bundalong, Ovens River through the Lower Ovens Regional Park, and looping back via the Murray River (trip subject to river heights). Abundant birdlife, old bridges and river works and unique red gum forest scenery.
